Faith Is Not A GamblePsalms 119:89“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”Malachi 3:6“For I am the LORD, I change not…”Hebrews 13:8“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”Some people play around with faith in God like one would play the lottery (which is a sin), they take a chance with it.Faith in God is not a game of chance.Faith in God is not a gamble.Faith in God is as sure as God is sure.God’s Word is forever settled, and it will continue to stand. We can rest our faith in the sure Word of God.The LORD changes not!He is “the same yesterday, and to day , and for ever”. We can rest our faith in the unchangeableness of God. We can rest our faith in the fact that God is the same today as He was when He created this world and He will forever be the same God. I cannot change the fact that this world is not the same world as I grew up in. This world is always changing, not for the better but the worse. Resting my faith in God is a sure thing because God never changes. He is everything the Bible says He is and He never changes. Our faith is sure because of where it rests. It rests in God. Amen.
