A Fixed Heart Of Faith
Psalms 57:7
“My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.”
Psalms 108:1
“O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.”
Psalms 112:7
“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.”
The reference in these verse’s to a heart fixed speaks of a heart that is firm, stable, and established with faith in God and His Word. If one’s heart is fixed in God, the person will also be fixed in God. Our families, the church, and the world needs Christians who have faith that is firmly anchored in God and His Word. Such faith is not something that one stumbles upon or finds by chance.
I personally believe that strong faith comes from spending much time in the Bible.
I believe my point is proven by Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Also, one who keeps coming to God by faith in His Word, the Bible, believes that God is. The one who diligently seeks God through the Bible is rewarded with faith.
Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Here is the question we need to ask ourselves. How much time each day do I spend with God in His Word?
Little time = little faith.
Much time = much faith.
