Use Them Or Lose Them

"For to everyone who has, more will be given

and he will have abundance;

but from him who does not have,

even what he has will be taken away."

Matthew 25:29

The context of this passage states the principle that we are held accountable for what we do with the talents the Lord has given us. The more we use them in serving the Lord, the more they will grow, the more the Lord will give.

But if we squelch them out of fear or lack of faith then they will become weak and useless, and we will face the Lord in shame for having ignored them.

What gift has the Lord entrusted to you? If you're not sure, go to him in prayer and ask him to show you. You might be surprised.
