12/10/2020 - OMEGA vs VENTRAY 809 VERTICAL MASTICATING JUICERS - I'm in the market for a new juicer and maybe I need a more powerful juicer for less money, such as the Ventray. I currently have the Omega VSJ843RS, purchased about 3 or 4 years ago for $350.00. No complaints what-so-ever, except the on/off button has broken twice now. Sure, they warranted the juicer even after a year, but it still cost us $100 to ship it back to them for an "even-steven" exchange for a new one...haha...how dumb are we? So now we have a $450.00 broken juicer. It still works, but only if I continuously hold it to "On". The reverse doesn't work at all. Now it's all a matter of time. ??I borrowed my daughters for a comparison test. She's only been using her Ventray 809 (paid $220.00) for about a week. It looks like it produced the exact same amount of spinach juice and foam from a 6.1 oz. batch for each juicer.----------OMEGA VSJ843RS Vertical Slow Masticating Juicer (Discontinued!
