“I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him into new life.” Perhaps you’ve heard a pastor say this, or maybe your heard it as you were being baptized. Jesus told us to be baptized of water and the Spirit. Baptism is important. It makes us part of the Church and allows us to enter the kingdom of God. Something wonderful happens at baptism. If you haven’t been baptized, you may consider talking to your pastor about whether or not you should be baptized.
