The media show pictures of children bruised with cigarette burns and broken bones. They hold these cases up to support their view that you should not physically discipline your child. And the world buys that.The Word of God is NOT advocating child abuse. Just as guns don't kill people, people kill people, so it is with child abuse - the fact that there are child abusers does not mean that physical discipline is wrong, especially when the Word of God demands itThe point here is whether parents will receive God's prescribed way of training up a child, or whether they will reject God's Word and agree with the world.It would be a good idea to look at the fruits of a generation of kids brought up under the world's philosophies. We now live in a world where anything goes.
