In this church age, there is no works involved in salvation. It is not about what we do, such as water baptism, being a local church member, being a good person, etc. It is all about what Christ did. If we could save ourselves, then Christ's finished work on the cross is all in vain. We are saved by grace through faith (Ephes. 2:8-10). Believe and trust the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Cor. 15:1-4), before it is too late!
