Tragic news out of Wisconsin as EMT Kayln Books, who was a member of Chetek (NW Wisconsin) Ambulance, has taken her own life.
According to Fire Chief Ryan Olson, “Kayln is the wife of Chetek FD Firefighter Justin Books and daughter-in-law of Assistant Chief Randy Books. Kayln lost her battle this week with mental health. Kayln leaves behind a grieving husband, daughter, and all that knew her.”
“As a fire and EMS family, Justin, we love you and send all our strength to you in the coming days…Please know that you are not alone.” stated Chief Olson.
