They said to each other, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?”--- Luke 24:32Dear Lord,Transform me like the two disciples in the verse who had an encounter with You. Set my heart ablaze again. Restore my first love and the joy of my salvation.Speak to me through Your Word. I want to have fellowship with You.Bring to mind Scriptures that You want me to have today. Teach me how to read and interpret them.Have my heart come to life and burn within me as I read Your Word. Help me to notice how You try to move my heart and give me the courage to respond. In Jesus’ name, I pray.Amen
