Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. --- Matthew 9:22 This woman had suffered for 12 years with a hemorrhage (perhaps a menstrual disorder). In our times of desperation, we don’t have to worry about the correct way to reach out to God. Like this woman, we can simply reach out in faith. He will respond. Here God changed a situation that had been a problem for years. Because of her bleeding this woman was considered unclean. For 12 years, accounting to the law, she had been considered “untouchable” and unable to lead a normal life. But Jesus changed that and restored her. Sometimes we are tempted to give up on people or situations that have not changed for many years.
