From: Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department Congratulations to Lt. James Van Zandt on being named employee of the month for July. He was recognized at a city council meeting earlier this week for this efforts last winter when he helped a family in need. The family, which included a blind father and three small children, had been waiting for a taxi that never showed in the cold. Lt. Van Zandt arranged an Uber ride for them to their destination, paying for it out of his own pocket. Thank you for exemplifying the kind of character our employees represent on a daily basis!
