This was one of my all time favorite custom projects I did for a private client. It was for a travel and transportation themed wedding reception. Each piece was sculpted out of eps insulation foam board- covered with a proprietary wet clay coating that was then sanded and painted and fit with wheels, windshields, leather seats, headlights etc...the look was finished off with miniature replicas of luggage pieces, travel cases covered in faux leather and fabrics, finished with authentic metal hardware and leather straps.

This is part of the transportation series- a lot of fun to make. The couple was married in a hot air balloon in a private ceremony several months before a second wedding with family and friends who traveled from around the globe to attend.
