As you can clearly see 👀 the first letter is different than my last name. The reason for this is due to the years of war in Germany and they changed the spelling but yet retained the same pronunciation to prevent being detected by the government of France. My family stems from the parent name of Karnes and branches out on a worldwide scale to over 63 different names.
