Daily Devotional - November 18He Might Have A Gift That You Need"Do you look at things according to the outward appearance?"2 Corinthians 10:7There are two visitors at your church this week. One is a man well-dressed and sparkling clean. The other in shabby clothes, not scrubbed clean. Maybe a tooth missing. If you are human, your natural reaction will be different to each of them. But we are called to put aside our natural human feelings and see things as Christ sees them. While we give honor to the well-dressed, well-spoken man, many times that is the opposite of the way God sees it."For you see your calling, brethren, that NOT MANY wise according to the flesh, NOT MANY mighty, NOT MANY noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the worldto put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the worldto put to shame the things which are mighty;"1 Corinthians 1:26-27In other words, there will be more unwise and unmighty people in the body of Christ than the wise and mighty. Think on that.Receive the more lowly brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, and seek to learn what each one's gift is, then encourage him or her in that gift, for his gift is a part of the Body that is needed. When you find how the Lord has gifted such a one, you might be very surprised in how that one ministers to YOU.VIEW PIC:https://pmailletbdpics.blogspot.com/2020/04/not-wise-and-not-mighty.htmlFrom:Along Emaus Roadhttp://alongemausrd.blogspot.com/
