Here at our tiny Suburban homestead ( 1/6 of an acre) we try our very best to be as self sustainable as we possibly can. In addition to growing & preserving a lot of our own homegrown food, we have backyard ladies. Our girls help us scratch the earth & prepare it. Their manure adds tons of nutrition to our homemade compost & for my family members that eat eggs they also produce food. Farm fresh eggs are so delicious and so much better for you then store bought eggs.
