37 Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. --- John 6:37-38 NASB Jesus did not work independently of God the Father, but in union with him. This should give us even more assurance of being welcomed into God’s presence and being protected by him. Jesus’ purpose was to do the will of God, not to satisfy Jesus’ human desires. When we follow Jesus, we should have the same purpose. --- Life Application Study Bible PRAYER Dear Heavenly Father, I am comforted by the assurance that salvation will be given to all who come through faith in Christ and no one will be cast away. Direct us to make right choices using our own free-will. Remind us only those who believe Your word and trust Christ as savior by faith will be saved and those who choose to reject Your free gift of grace will perish Lead us to continue to come to You every moment of our lives and believe in the gospel each day so that we may be sustained unto eternal life.
