This is the knife I wish I had years ago…while fighting a suspect who was trying to kill me. This knife is the NORTHMAN from AMTAC knives. The designer is a friend of mine, a former SEAL. When I saw this I knew I needed one, because I really needed it years ago, and didn’t have it. This is a fixed blade that rests in your pocket looking like a folder. No one notices. The advantage is that, at the moment someone is wrestling you for your pistol… to kill you…, you need a secondary weapon that you can access with your weak hand, and use with gross motor skills. This is it. No folder can work as well in that situation. Great knife. Low profile, so comfortable you do not notice it at all. Excellent clip design that does not let the sheath slip upon the draw or under heavy movement. The sheath has a built in ferro rod. I just ordered a bunch for friends. (Existing friends.
