Chosen of GodJesse had many sons, the youngest of these was David. To Jesse David was the least significant. He never saw him as a king or a great leader. When the world saw David, they saw the youngest of the sons of Jesse and a mere shepherd. When his brothers looked at him, they saw a child. It seems like they were even annoyed at him when he came to check on them.When God looked at David, he saw something much different. God looked his heart, not the outward appearance of a young boy. God saw a king! He was a chosen vessel handpicked by the master. When David was anointed by the prophet, he no doubt did not feel like a future king. However, his brothers were there, his father was there, but none of them saw the king that was in front of them.When God looks at you, he sees so much more than the world sees. God sees all your abilities, all your talents. He sees the plan that he has for your life, a plan to prosper you, to bless you, a plan to do you no harm. He has a life of purpose and destiny for your life. His plan for you is a good plan!Stop listening to the voices that say you are not, you will never, nobody loves you, you are a failure, and you will never succeed at anything! These are lies from Satan, God says you are a chosen generation and a royal priesthood, you have in handpicked by the creator of the universe and selected and chosen to do what he has called you to do. You are more than able you are a child of the king. What will you do with this call, will you answer him and go?
