Spent the last two days in L'orient France in memory and honor of my father in law, Henry Kritzer. In World War Two, the B17 he was on, crash landed. The plane, Take Me Home, came to rest near an airfield which is now a military base. We were allowed on the base to see a piece of the place with a picture of Debs dad. We also stood in the exact location where the plane came to rest, visited the POW prison he was placed in and even the exact place where he was exchanged for German prisoners. The French people couldn't have been nicer, even inviting us to sit and toast Mr Kritzer. Quite a memorable two days and reminds me how special those men were. God Bless all who have fought for our freedoms. (This is from a couple years ago, when we were free to travel)
