MY STORY WITH MY BEAUTIFUL GRANNY , MY HERO!Hey everyone My name is Andrew Kazibwe, Team Leader of Andy Kind Heart Foundation Butebi.My life story begins in 1994, having lost my Mother at 3years to HIV/AIDS in 1993, i stayed with my Father for 1year who later also died in 1994 , becoming an orphan at 4 years , i had no where else to go after this tragedy befell me. And this is when i was picked up by my HERO , my grandmother, she lived in one of the poorest communities in Uganda, but she had the purest and richest Heart in the wold!My grandmother AnnaMaria , did all she could to feed us with my elder sister , with other 5 children whom we found at home , she could wake up by 5am to go and dig in peoples farms and later on come back to dig in our home .She poured out all her heart for us , we never slept on empty stomachs , whenever we fall sick she could look for every local herbs and cooked for us , she had no money to take us to hospitals and the distance was also long to always carry us on her back.She worked so hard to see me go to school, despite her not even attending Nursery School , she made sure i study!I've never seen LOVE like that of my grandmother and all the grannies i meet , i have this strong connection with , i always feel helpless if i find myself in a position where i cannot help an older person in need .I lost my lovely grandmother to stomach cancer in 2019 , i had already made a choice in 2014 to start taking care of older persons in the poor communities and its the sweetest thing i always want to do . the stories i share them .This Christmas we would like to share Christmas food packages to the sweet grannies who are struggling to take care of their grandchildren just like how I was , so that they can have a SPECIAL MEAL and gift and Know that there are people who care and understand all their sacrifices to give their best into the world.If you wish to join me with a gift to the older persons we care for Donations go through PAYPAL to: kindheartorphanage1@gmail.comThank you!
