OHIO… Every Gun Bill in 2022 Defeated…Early Thursday morning around 6:00am, the politicians in Columbus closed the book on the 134th Ohio General Assembly.They will likely not return to the Ohio Statehouse until after the new year on January 3rd, when the 135th General Assembly kicks off and the politicians elected last November officially begin the duties they were elected to do.Ohio Gun Owners is working on a comprehensive email that details everything we’ve accomplished in the last two years, but here’s a preview:Team OGO and our grassroots ARMY across Ohio killed every single gun-control bill introduced in Columbus. Every single one.Defeating gun-control bills is always our number one priority. We’re happy to see them get destroyed, and that includes House Bill 383 by fake-Republican Kyle Koehler, which we’ve been working hard to do for the last two weeks.Ripping a page right out of the Democrat’s playbook, Kyle wanted to switch Ohio from the practice of punishing criminals for the crime they committed to punishing people for inanimate objects they possessed, regardless of whether they used that object to commit a crime!Passed “Permitless Carry.”Not only did we repeal the mandate for a license to carry a handgun for lawful citizens (we shy away from calling it Constitutional Carry, because the law was badly watered down by RINO’s like, once again, Kyle Koehler, before it passed out) but we did something else for the first time in history:We passed a MAJOR pro-gun bill in regular session, not in Lame Duck! And quite frankly, that was only because of the bulldogging of Ohio Gun Owners’ member-army!There were a TON of other things that I intend to go over in a multi-part email series coming out next week, so stay tuned for that.But for now, just soak it all up, and make sure you have a fabulous, wonderful Christmas with you and your families.After all, they are who you and me are fighting for.
