I was in our medicine cupboard, yes we have an entire kitchen cupboard, getting some vitamins when it dawned on me how many medications we have. One for every ailment we could possibly have. I started pulling the ones that I would use on a regular basis, or used to use. I was looking at the different side effects of them when I realized that I had replaced them with oils. I can tell you that I feel better now about the choice to switch. I would take a med for pain and hoped it would work. About 50% of the time it did. The other 50% I would have to wait to try a different one, usually at least 4 hours, and hoped it would work. Now I have options that I don't have to wait to try. If one doesn't work within about 20 minutes, I use another. By the way, it's pretty rare that the first one doesn't help. Guess what? No side effects. I realized the same thing with seasonal struggles, angry stomach, and the occasional bugs that come with working in the schools. If you've wondered if there's anything oily that could help you, please ask. I'm not going to try to sell you anything. I genuinely would like to help. I really wish I would have tried them sooner, but skeptic in me put it off, not my smartest decision.
