If you were infected with a deadly disease that was going to kill you, would you want to know about it? If there was a cure, would you want someone tell you about it?The oldest statistic in the book is that 10 out of 10 people will physically die. The Bible says the reason we physically die is because all of us have been infected with a deadly disease called sin. Since God is holy and without sin, He cannot allow any sin into Heaven and because He’s just, He must destroy sin wherever it’s found and it’s found in us! This presents a huge dilemma for both man and God because He loves humanity more than anyone could ever realize and isn’t willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.That’s why God, in His love, mercy and grace, provided a powerful and everlasting cure to this disease of the flesh. He so loved the world He sent His only Son with a cure for this disease that allows us to receive a new body, that will not perish when this body of flesh dies.Jesus, Gods beloved Son took the disease on Himself and died in the place of humanity in order to create the "antidote" that cures sin and He offers the "antidote" as a gift to anyone who will call on His name to receive it.The "antidote" is offered as a free gift but just like any gift, a person can either accept it or reject it. Those who accept it will be cured of the deadly disease and become a child of God who will receive a new body after the physical one dies.
