Like many of my fellow Floridians, I went through the eye of the storm. Many of my neighbors lost their homes due to wind and flood. My family came through relatively unscathed. We are without electricity, but neighbors are coming back online through the night.I have seen a lot of pain and tragedy and experienced a bit of terror, but I have also seen calm, cooperation, kindness, vigilance, and relief. It was a beautiful day today.Thank you, God, for protecting us. Please provide comfort for those who have suffered loss of a home or loved one. We will do our part to help make them whole again.
