There are a handful of classic cars. It's strange how it all comes together. How do you design an E type jag? Or a 57 Chevy? Or a Mazda Miata? Or a Mini Cooper? It is combination of factors that designers rarely get right. It's nice when they do. It's amazing to me as well that once they get it right they rarely leave it alone. The new models often lose that "X' factor and since none of us know what that is (except when we see it) it gets lost.
