I KNOW how desperate we all are for likeminded people in real life (and in the Metaverse), however, a word of caution. MANY Local Community Groups on social media are being STEERED.
There are some tell tale signs that members are being corralled and strung along. Those who have got the gist of Communitarianism will likely spot these controlled operations but I'm afraid most won't.
"INTENTIONAL COMMUNITIES," is part of the Agenda which ties in directly with 20 Minute Neighbourhoods, 15-30 min Cities, local garden co-operatives, direct democracy, etc.
If your group is well organised with branches round the country--and internationally--with specific branding, you have likely walked into a minefield.
If your group doesn't allow external content, BUT goes to the trouble of "debunking" and "fact checking" said content, you need to put your thinking cap on. It's one thing to say, "this is a curated space," ANOTHER THING ENTIRELY to delete material BUT TO have the last word on it and not allow discussion. Worse than this, is if they concurrently make EXPLICIT ALLOWANCES FOR "AUTHENTIC NEWS," ie., MSM.
Be extremely wary about handing over personal details, your home address ("for when things go south"). When/if things go belly-up, no one who's trying to save themselves or their loved ones is going to come on a white horse for a stranger on a database.
If you are being promised decentralised, blockchained anonymity, you are being gullible.
The word COMMUNITY should raise the hair on the scruff of your neck. Yes, there a lot of 'freedom fighters' and 'truth tellers' spouting off tried and tested terms without any idea about what they're saying, but you shouldn't take the default position that they "mean it in a good way."
A bona fide network of grassroots people with genuine intentions is going to be hard to come by. Proceed with caution and discernment. Learn the lingo of the UN's programming. Comprehend that the New Age "we are one consciousness," is part of the Agenda, even if the practitioners are good people who don't know they've been assimilated.
Stop thinking platforms like TeΙegram are safe spaces. Safe and online are mutually exclusive concepts.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news all the time, but many who are as frustrated as I am with FB are turning to other platforms because it feels warm and cosy--there's no such thing online. This is antisocial media, just as 'social distancing' is de facto antisocial.
To be clear: I'm not saying FB is a better option, but its ugliness and censorship is far easier to observe and experience, and thus people are naturally inclined to be more guarded.
Last thing. If I were to set up an intentional network, I'd have SOMETHING to offer and I'd expect others to be able to reciprocate something tangible and or useful. If the only thing you're receiving is love and light, or survival hacks you can get on YouTube, think hard before giving data, or money, or recruiting other people.
Good day to all.
