Look how tight these inmates are holding this pastor’s hand! They realize how much they need Jesus because they understand their sins are great. The truth is, all of us have sinned before God and deserve judgment because of our sin. “The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) We deserve death and hell because of our sin, but Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn’t have to. Jesus took our punishment on the cross, we received eternal life.If you’ve never accepted Jesus into your life, pray with me… Dear Jesus, come into my life. Forgive me of my sins. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and your love. Thank you for dying for my sins and rising again so I could be in Heaven with you forever someday. Thank you for making me a part of your family.
