Happy Independence Day! I’m a day late with the #grandmachronicles Since it’s a huge travel weekend, let’s chat about long car rides! COWTAIL 🍬 Anyone?? Has anyone ever traveled with their grandma aka Bubba? I was so fortunate over the years, many trips to Ocean City MD, (one time with no plan, no room booked, so 5 people in a tiny hotel room it was!), weddings, graduations, and day trips! You seriously never knew what was coming out of the bags she traveled with, except for the COWTAIL’s! She would ask every 10 minutes if you wanted a cowtail! If you said no, you never knew what was coming out of the bag next, cookies 🍪, potatoes 🥔 chips, pretzels 🥨, nectarines, peach 🍑, apple 🍎, and the list goes on! Our last long car ride together was returning home from Alex Kostik and Kostik Caci wedding! Of course I convinced John to follow a Yard Sale Sign, and this made the GPS go crazy, she couldn’t believe that our car was talking to us!
