     Am I the only one who feels it?  It feels like a slow drum beat moving ever closer.  We, as Americans, are dealing with ever rising prices, possibility of rolling blackouts over a large chunk of the country this summer, shortages of basic commodities, divisive rhetoric from both the left and right.     Yet, the drumbeat I feel isn't on our soil, it is coming from Europe AGAIN!  Our government is feeding it by providing so many weapons including mid-range rockets.  Amazing how we are able to provide a constant supply of weapons to the world!       There are moments when I see our foreign policy as the personification of the bullies of the world.  Or are we the mercenaries of the world? Or maybe just the arms dealers?Or are we just that inept? Do our politicians think that another war will bring about the massive societal changes they advocate?     I don't have the answers I just have a feeling.  Do what you can, where you are, with what you have.
