Covid and the lockdowns did more harm to people and their mental health...... add to that increased substance abuse, division and hate along with stress and financial problems and pushing fear! According to a recent report by the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the percentage of adults with the most recent anxiety or depressive disorder symptoms increased sharply from 36.4 to 41.5%. The rate of people reporting unmet mental health care needs has increased from 9.2 to 11.7% between August 2020 and February 2021 due to the COVID-19.
