What else can be expected from a society who's hell-bent on obliterating the definitions of life/death ? They're confusing the very definitions of life and death daily. It starts with abortions, progresses to euthanasia, then the ends work towards the middle. Total disrespect for anyone's life without repercussions. Remember the movie "Logan's Run" ? Yeah, me too. I read the book. Then again, I've read hundreds of books, including the classics. The one True Book that contains all the answers is being totally ignored, even by most churches today. Still wonder why terrible things are increasing? Disrespect for life, and failure to acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being. Yes, it's just that simple. Gun control? Please. Look at Chicago's gun laws, and those in New York. Don't work there. Look at Maine. That works. So, why the push for guns? Yeah, I get it too. While we're at it, remember why China's cracking down on any religion whatsoever. Yes, my heart's heavy over those young schoolchildren. Reminds me of one of the reasons we chose to homeschool our son - NOBODY would take better care of him and teach him better than us. Our problems in today's society stem from narcissism and lack of belief in anything but oneself and lying politicians. Carpetbaggers of our values that founded our country. Allowing shared custody of their children with governmental control. Believing in governmental gun control when they can't even keep guns or drugs out of Federal prisons. Releasing convicted murderers early. Taking away parental rights to determine what's best for their children. Failing to honor their oaths to support, uphold, and defend the Constitution, our most honored document. The total failure to acknowledge Memorial Day for what it is, in memoriam to those who gave their lives in order for us to enjoy our freedoms. The ultimate price. We've GOT to acknowledge the way forward, sooner rather than later. Instead of Pelosi telling the Catholic Church how to apply scriptures, she needs to read Proverbs 31 first. Yes, we can say anything we want, as long as it's the truth. Einstein said "when you stop learning, you start dying". There appears to be a lot of life to be gained in our society.
