Don't even. Y'all KEEP encouraging his malevolent behaviours. Yes, he sees. Y'all laughed at the last episode. The one where George was run off. I knew better. When that tree rodent goes off the property, it's NEVER good. For ME. I don't know how they know to call me, yet, they do. I don't know why I always bail him outta trouble, either. After THIS one, I told him he's now my food reserve! An expensive one at that ! Anyway, you can only picture my reaction when I saw him flagranté delicto ! At over 72 counting time on the "inside", I fell on the ground laughing until I could barely talk ! WHEN I could finally stand up, I produced a quarter, and told him if he didn't agree to work off the damages, I was going to drop it into the slot and turn the mechanism, which would've given me a "souvenir" that resembled his tail. For some reason, he readily agreed. Not good. There were only two ways. Unlock the top, or break the glass. OF COURSE, the store owner didn't have the key, it belonged to a % vendor. The store owner came back with a death look on his face, telling me the machine owner wanted $250.00 if I broke the glass, plus $50.00 for remaining contents. Yeah. Then, the Sheriff refused to let me break it with a baseball bat ! Next thing you know, the Sheriff tapped it with his nightstick, and all h$@@ broke loose ! George hit the floor, and started throwin' peanuts in a baggie he'd brought. The Sheriff held out his hand in anticipation of collecting the $300.00. You can only picture his face when I shook the extended appendage. MY position was/is clearly that HE'S the one whut broke it, not me. Yes, I WAS arrested. They placed my call to my wife, and after I informed her of the $500.00 cash bail, she apparently fell on the floor laughing, which broke the landline connection. Haven't seen/heard from my son, either. Probably out chasin' some female, since it's spring and the "sap's a'risen'". Needless to say, I'm stuck here with nothin' to do but contemplate fresh squirrel recipes. Yeah, I know. No "R" in the next few months, but there ARE cages to keep 'em until there is ! I'm thinking broiled with Sriracha sauce ! Ideas ?
