I was always told to follow your heart and it will lead you in the right direction. Sometimes tho ; it causes more grief then good. Being honest and kind don’t always be accepted ; as some can’t handle truth ;) and as some don’t see the same values; beliefs and ethics ! But I’m me! And will continue to be ; to the right people!
