I hope you take the time to actually learn the definitions of words you hear, patriotism, nationalism, authoritarianism.All 3 are on clear display in today's world and are overlapping in some instances.Patriotism is NOT necessarily, my country right or wrong.  We can be patriotic, loving our country being devoted while disagreeing with how the government operates.  Nationalism is believing that a nation will benefit from acting independently rather than in concert with other countries.  Authoritarianism is characterized by the use of central power to preserve the political status quo, reducing rule of law separation of power and democratic voting.Can you see how all of these concepts are intermingling.  If you spend time thinking about this you can certainly go down rabbit holes!  There is a lot of gray rather than black and white.  I don't necessarily agree with many things that are occuring but I continue to research, speak out and prepare!
