Wow, so many words are flying around us. Words often are used to elicit emotional rather than logical responses.  Words like terrorism, patriotism, nationalism, authoritarianism, propaganda, martial law, investigation, brutality, racism, discrimination, all are used to conjure up emotions.  But, have you taken the time to actually look up the written definitions?When I was young most families had at least one dictionary in the home.  If you didn't know the meaning of a word you were told to go look it up. There it was, in black and white, definitions that did not change on a whim, printed and solid.  That is not the case today, children often are told to look it up but they use the internet where things are forever changing, evolving, transitory.If we believe some of the "words" being spoken today, we will cower in fear of what will come.  I rejoice in the fact that many are beginning to question some of the usage of the "words".  I recommend that you have printed books including a dictionary in your homes. Pay attention to what is going on, research, speak up and prepare!
