The truth is that biden doesn't care how high gasoline prices go.Democrat voters are overwhelmingly in urban areas where they don't directly consume gasoline. They use mass transit. They take busses and trains to get around and to get back & forth to/from work.On the other hand, Republican voters inhabit the rural areas of the country, where they must rely on their personal vehicles for transportation. Just getting back & forth to/from work requires buying gasoline directly.So when Jen Psaki says cutting off Nordstrom oil and not opening Keystone is going to have a cost we must bear, she isn't talking about democrat voters (in general). She's talking about rural republican voters bearing the cost because she knows they're the people who rely on gasoline more than anyone else.
