According to scholars we are in the 3rd revolution (mechanical, industrial, and digital).  The 4th industrial revolution "marks the convergence of existing and emerging fields, including Big Data, artificial intelligence,  machine learning, quantum computing, genetics, nanotechnology, and robotics" according to Michael Rectenwald.  He has taught at five universities and written several books.In my opinion, big red lights are flashing DANGER!We are already seeing the blending of these technologies.  Algorithms already create social censoring of "unapproved" viewpoints.  What will happen in the future when advancements in these fields create the "great new world"?  Will humans be necessary?  When I see the Canadian government invoke their emergency powers act I know the US government might not be far behind.  Find your strength, educate yourself, speak up and prepare!
