This is our good friend, Michael Ricks. We discovered an unrecoverable "glitch" on a banjo part from the Amarillo sessions. So, I called Michael in to play banjo on the song Homer.This song spans Homer's life, focusing on the dust bowl era up to his death in 1940. When we were done with the track, Michael said, "You know, I was listening to your lyrics and thought it was interesting. The brand of banjo I'm playing is a Recording King - Dirty 30s."
