Who grew up watching Davey And Goliath? I didn't realize until many years later, and didn't care, that this was a religious program. I just enjoyed it 🙂 It was on every Sunday morning.It was a production of the Lutheran Church in America by Art and Ruth Clokey, and Dick Sutcliffe. It dealt with the issues of honesty, racism, death, religious intolerance and vandalism. In general, the characters would find themselves in situations that had to be overcome by placing their faith in God. Davey and Goliath had appeared in syndication in February 1961.It was a quality production. Loved it since my childhood. If I'm not mistaken, production had ended around 1963.
