Another piece I had found today.. Frank Sinatra's 1956 LP, "That Old Feeling", red on white Columbia promo copy. I've always enjoyed Frank's music, and I love the red on white Columbia label. Not only this, but it had resided in an Hawaiian radio station's library since it's release.
Just imagine.. walking a Hawaiian beach at twilight, city lights in the background, listening to Frank Sinatra on the radio. It would have been AM of course, as FM wasn't yet for public service.
As for the red on white Columbia's, I'm always looking for such of The Four Lads and Doris Day, etc. I know.. they're not worth anything monetarily, but so what?
