Also they were called Grecians . Grecians or Hellenists were mixed race Jews. Those of who were Jews but had married someone from the gentile race. Timothy had came from such parents as his father was a greek (gentile) and his mother a Jewess woman. Visiting our town synagogue during a festival even the rabbi there gave a teaching in conversation amongst a lot of gentiles was in attendance. He didn’t speak of people as being white , black or brown or any other skin tone. He only used the words Jews & Gentiles, saying we have many of our people Jews who have gentile husbands and Jewish men who have married gentile wives. Those Grecians in Antioch who were first called Messianics were just that mixed race jews. Oh what lies and mid teaching has gone on and is going on amongst Christianity in America! Hearing that rabbi speak that day talk me a lot about what is not being taught amongst gentile so called Christianity in America.
