Tuesday, September 22, 2020Tarot of the Day: Seven of WandsTaking a Stand--Defending What You Believe--Courage through DifficultiesIf ever there was a tarot card that captured the duty of the individual, this is it.For far too long the tired refrain of "go along to get along", "keep your head down, don't get involved and you'll be fine" as well as empty platitudes that encourage submission as an instinctual response to difficulties have held sway in public discourse. This goes against the very DNA of the United States. Our country and culture exists specifically because people took a stand, defended themselves, and displayed courage when things looked bleak.The Seven of Wands is a reminder of who we are--as Americans, as pagans, and of our individual sovereignty. It's now up to us to act accordingly.
