I have been doing research on the US debt.And trying to figure out why so many states are willing to go along with anything the government says.. I ran across this, many states receive more than their fair share of government funding..very few are less than 1.00 a person. No wonder we are in the mess we are in

Absolutely. And acceptance of the money is extremely conditional (think school boards) that we must be active in our state legislature and local governement. Great post!
