Saul was stopped right at the inheritance land boundary before entering into the land of Damascus (Syria ). Abram was a Syrian by birth and it’s this region that Abram (Abraham ) sent his servant(slave) to bring back a wife for his son of promise Isaac. It’s the same region that Jacob fled to and served his uncle land for years and Jacob came out with two wives and is the father of the 12 patriarchs(Benjamin being the last & his name means Son Of My Right Hand). Saul was also a descendant of the tribe of Benjamin an Hebrew(Jew). This is no coincidence for Saul was prophesied of in the 2 chapter of the book of Habakkuk. Didn’t Laban come into covenant with Jacob(Israel) and returned back to Syria? Yes he did. There was an appointed set time for Saul to serve the Lord God in service of the Gospel. Romans thru Philemon is to all gentiles and all the rest is for our study, learning, knowledge and understanding the wisdom of God from Heaven above. So we are not tossed to & fro by the many doctrines of this world devised by foolish man by many religions! ✝️🩸🙏
