Let's talk deer rifles. I've hunted with a lot of them over the years, and in the right situation, anything from .243 Win. on up can get the job done. In fact, many hunters in places like Texas would say any .22 centerfire (such as .222 or .220 Swift) is adequate. What's your favorite, and why?

My favorite is a shotgun with buck shot, where I hunt in Florida, I will not get a shot over 50 yards, and the Deer are at a flat run

Ive moved from my Remongton 700 in 30.06 to a new Weatherby in .257 Mag. It is a fun rifle to shoot, it is very fast. I wont call it my favorite yet, but it is quickly getting there.
