Here's a fun Fun Fact to keep you on your toes
After watching the movie Tombstone today
I found myself hearing Val Kilmer playing the part of Doc Holiday say the famois words that were actually used by Doc Holiday.
Only thing is i had a hard time actually hearing the final syllable ...
So i had to research
Many say
" I'm your Huckleberry"
But is that what he actually said?
Doc Holiday used the term in real life.
But you see, in those days when a person died and was place into a coffin, the handles were called "Huckles" instead of handles and those that carried the coffin along the sides were called "Huckle Bearers" later that was changed to "Pole or PallBearers" didnt look to see why.
After Doc Holidays death from tuberculosis many took his saying as their own changing it to "Huckleberry"
So if you can... listen close and comment what version you think Val Kilmer uses ...
Which version will you use from now on?
