I could talk about what this pestilence has done and caused, the relationships it has brought to end because we can't meet anymore, and phone/video calls and text messages only go so far. Relationships, like humans, in general need personal contact. I could talk about how it's made it more difficult to source parts for my business.Or, how it seems we are in a causality loop like the movie Groundhog Day. We seem to be starting all over again... ( I just hope we get it right this time). We all know this, yet it would appear that we are okay with that, so I will move on. The other night I watched Zorba the Greek for the first time. This quote from the end of the movie stuck with me. Zorba "Damn it boss, I like you too much not to say it. You've got everthing except one thing: madness! A man needs a little madness, or else..."Basil "Or else?"Zorba "he never dares cut the rope and be free"Right now we are living in a pressure cooker, after the last 19 months we are all feeling the pressure and heat. And just when we thought someone was about the open the vent, they instead, tie it down. Now, the pressure is building to dangerous levels that have never before been seen. There are only two ways to handle it : you can either give into it and snap doing something stupid that will either result in jail time or death ; or you can get a little madness, cut the rope, take a drink, and DANCE, until you are forced to make a choice/stand --- then, take out every bit of this on that poor, unfortunate enemy......
