ADHD medication update 💕I was diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year. I was finally able to start on medication in May, and yesterday I had my five week follow up appointment with my doctor! Believe me when I say this… the difference I feel on medication has been night and day:My mood is more stable and I no longer feel like like I’m on an emotional rollercoaster. I experience so much less anxiety throughout the day.I’m able to focus on what I’m doing and am not as easily distracted.I FINALLY feel like I’m able to balance things in my life now…And the MOST important thing I’ve noticed… Is that I TRULY have an overall more positive sense of self and confidence in my abilities.I can vividly remember all of the panic attacks, feelings of hopelessness, and how I felt completely unable to control my brain at so many times throughout my life, especially as a child. Constantly overwhelmed, unconfident, and unsure. Doubting myself at every step because my brain was unable to function like neurotypical one…And now, it feel’s as if a switch has been flipped. Like some sort of mental fog has been lifted. It’s truly been life changing…To anyone out there on the fence about getting help, I promise you… Medication is not a crutch, no matter what anyone else says. It’s a form of self care. And you deserve that care. ❤️

I think people rely on medication to much. I don't really know you or what type of life you have had, but we all go through different trials. You have a beautiful smile and you are a lovely young lady. I wish you all the best, God bless you.

I have a thyroid condition. When my meds are dialed in, I lose weight, sleep better, etc. Modern medicine IS a miracle.
