This’s a statue of Matthias Baldwin being defaced. I didn't know who he was so I did some research on him. In the early 1800’s he helped fund, and build a school for black children way before most black kids were allowed an education. He was an abolitionist. He fought for black voting rights 30 years before slavery ended. Further proves my point these people protesting know absolutely nothing about our country or just don't care. 🇺🇲
