This pony is coming to the rescue sanctuary this next week. She is currently in the custody of animal control. When they pulled her from her owner, she was emaciated. Once they had her in their custody, they had their vet evaluate her. They found she also has EPM; a neurological disease caused by protozoa bacteria. Its going to require treatment for a year. Update: My vet examined this pony and look at the labs that had been taken. In her opinion, this pony does not have EPM. She was exposed to it.
